Membership

Membership is open to individuals and institutions on payment of the annual member’s fee of £20.

Each member receives a copy of the Society’s journal Morgannwg, and is entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting and the Autumn Day School. Details of both these events are circulated to members by the Secretary well in advance of the event.

Membership renewal is due on 1st January each year, and all cheques should be made payable to The Glamorgan History Society.

If you would like to become a member, please fill in the Membership Application form below and click the Submit button. You may also fill in the Gift Aid section if you wish your subscription to qualify for Gift Aid.

If you prefer to apply by post, you can download the application form by clicking here and following the instructions. This is an Adobe PDF document, and will open in a new window.

Gift Aid

Please only fill out this section if you are a UK taxpayer, otherwise please scroll down and click the Submit button to send your form to us.

I wish the Glamorgan History Society (registered charity No. 511498) to treat my subscription for membership as a Gift Aid donation along with all payments made by me to the Society since 6 April 2000 and all payments that I make from the date of this declaration until further notice.
I understand that in one tax year I must pay an amount of income tax/capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on my donations in that year.
